Formerly Conjoined Twins Are Doing Well
Krishna and Trishna show no signs of brain damage, according to surgeons.

Bangladeshi twins Krishna and Trishna, who were joined at the head until 16 Australian surgeons and nurses managed to disconnect them last week, are officially out of intensive care.
Doctors informed Agence France-Presse of the wonderful news Tuesday, saying the 2-year-old sisters have made an “amazing” recovery and are smiling again.
“These little girls are doing everything they were doing beforehand their function, their communication and their interaction with each other,” Melbourne Children’s Hospital chief of surgery Leo Donnan told the press. “The exciting thing is they’re now starting to play … (it’s a) pretty amazing thing to see.” (FOX News)
